It is important to know at any age!

Soon after it had been snared by Neptune, Triton's orbit was highly eccentric. This indicates that Triton's capture would have caused a mess of chaotic perturbations in the orbits of the original inner moons of Neptune--thus causing them to crash into one another, producing a disk of rubble created from these catastrophic smash-ups. For this reason, it is probable that Neptune's current inner moons are not the original generation of moons that formed along with Neptune.

and here is another

Last night there was a full moon. One of my dogs was very on edge, starting at every sound, staring out into the darkness at something I could neither hear nor see. The other 4 dogs were sound asleep. Did she sense something different about the moonlit night?

and finally

Europa is the sixth largest moon in our Solar System, and few bodies have enticed astronomers as much as this little moon of Jupiter, because it is thought to sport a subsurface global ocean of liquid water--and where there is water, there is the possibility of life. The more astronomers learn about this fascinating and mysterious icy moon, the more they become enchanted with it.

Other facts:

For a very long time, planetary scientists favored the scenario that the duo of potato-shaped Martian moons were probably snared asteroids. However, the pair's circular orbits at the equator indicated otherwise. The orbits of the little moons suggested that they had really formed from a giant impact billions of years ago. The new research, published in the July 4, 2016 issue of Nature Geoscience, proposes that a massive 2,000 kilometer protoplanet crashed into the primordial Mars. The horrendous impact resurfaced most of the Martian surface and hurled a mass of debris, more than 100 times the mass of both Phobos and Deimos, into orbit around the Red Planet.

This model attempts to explain the distribution of moons circling giant, gaseous planets dwelling in the outer limits of our Solar System. However, it also provides an explanation for how the moons of planets such as our Earth and the dwarf planet, Pluto, were born. This research provides a valuable clue about how planetary systems developed throughout the entire Universe--not only in our own Solar System.

Saturn has 62 known moons. Most of them are very small, icy worldlets. On June 11, 2004, shortly before arriving at Saturn, the Cassini spacecraft made its only flyby--at an altitude of 2,000 kilometers--past the very tiny icy moon Phoebe. Phoebe is a heavily cratered worldlet that circles its planet backwards--indicating that it is a captured object, born elsewhere, and not an original member of Saturn's family.
