Curious facts about cosmic life and their inhabitants.

The lakes are the main supporting source sustaining life in the moon. The lakes support an array of living organisms including fish of various varieties and some small sized aquatic mammals also, like on the earth. Only a limited range of water plants grow in the lakes and these are all found in all the lakes in the moon. The most abundant water plant variety resembles seaweeds, but is very much thicker and stronger than the earth's variety. These water plants which grow very rapidly and proliferate in vast quantities are the primary source of food and nutrient for the moon people.

and here is another

Banded, beautiful, and a bewitching sapphire blue, the ice-giant planet Neptune is the most distant major planet from our Star--and it is also circled by a bizarre large moon that may not have been born a moon at all. Neptune's moon, Triton, may really be an uninvited guest--the alien changeling child, taken in from the cold, by its current parent-planet, Neptune. Triton shows features that hauntingly resemble those seen on the dwarf planet Pluto, an icy denizen of the remote Kuiper Belt. The Kuiper Belt is a reservoir of a multitude of sparkling icy comet nuclei, as well as other frozen bodies--some large, some small--situated in a ring around our Sun beyond Neptune's orbit. Triton and Pluto share roughly the same density and bulk composition, as well as similar atmospheres--and they both travel in unusual orbits. Also, Neptune's system of moons is not what astronomers expect for a gaseous ice-giant planet, inhabiting the outer Solar System. In November 2017, a team of astronomers announced that they have explored the possibility that Neptune was really born with an ordinary system of moons that was later destroyed when it captured its murderous giant moon, Triton.

and finally

Unfortunately, even though mankind has gone to the moon in 1969, this is still not a simple feat in the 21st century. Most of the know how accumulated during the lunar flights have been lost due to the fact that production facilities have been dismantled and many experts who worked on the lunar missions either have retired or died. Right now, it would be impossible to replicate the Saturn 5 rockets that were used to launch the original Moon Mission. Thus, due to this, it has become impossible to fly to the moon again without some sort of a preparation. Hence, many scientists state that going to Mars is a better option as compared to going to the Moon.

Other facts:

But ongoing studies about lunar chemistry are showing that it may be much wetter than planetary scientists initially hypothesized. In fact, these wetter conditions conflict with some aspects of the Giant Impact theory.

"The good news is that our models show that observations of a wet Moon are not incompatible with a Giant Impact origin," Dr. Nakajima explained in the February 26 2018 Carnegie Institution Press Release.
